The reproducibility crisis

Have you ever come across the concept of reproducibility in science and project management? Recently, the academic research community around the world started to talk about the reproducibility crisis where a lot of the scientific findings and contributions that we’ve gathered are not easily replicable and reproducible.

Why does it matter? Well, if you’re declaring that your finding is true, it should be easily applicable to future related findings. Unfortunately in most cases today, this is still not possible.

This fact opened a whole new perspective on what really matters when delivering our scientific findings, publishing, and project management. It’s not only about producing, it’s about setting up a seed that others can build upon. In order to enable that, projects must be reproducible. It may seem counterintuitive, but the less a project depends on one person to reproduce it, the stronger the developer’s name becomes.

New workshop launch

Are you ready for reproducibility? We are here launching the first reproducibility workshop. A space not only to learn about reproducibility, but to train your skills with fun exercises that don’t even require programming. Join us!
